The Modern Hypocrites Minute Track 4: Green Day - Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life) I want to use this series of live recordings to spotlight songs that inspired me to learn guitar and write songs. The fourth song I want to spotlight is Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life). I wanted to switch things up this time so I reached out to my good friend and very talented artist, Emily Casagrande. I asked her if she would be interested in a challenge. The challenge was simple she would do a sketch of me for the #ModernHypocritesMinute. Emily was up for the challenge! She sent me the beautiful piece of art and asked if I would cover either Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life) or Basket Case by Green Day. Thankfully I am also a big fan of Green Day and could actually learn and pull off a cover of one of their songs. I chose Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life) because I think it spotlights that Billie Joe Armstrong is not just a punk rocker he’s also a very talented songwriter. #ModernHypocritesMinute
